Model 1100: Syringe Filler

Tridak's Model 1100 syringe filler is a semi-automated, dual syringe filling machine. With this syringe filler, two syringes are handled simultaneously while the dispense cycles remain independent.

This syringe filling machine is semi-automated. Operators do not hold or watch the syringes during the cycle. The syringes are automatically gripped by the syringe filler and are held in place so that the operator is free to get two more empty syringes while the first two are filling. The Model 1100 syringe filler features an adjustable level, dual photo sensor which automatically senses when the syringe plungers have reached their full position. The material dispense cycle is then automatically shutoff providing consistent, accurate fills with no spill over.

When the filling cycle is complete, the same gripping system that holds the syringe in place pulls the syringe off the luer taper. It then ejects the syringe into a waiting container or onto a conveyor, eliminating another activity that an operator would have to perform.
